Event Manager

As the Promotion Manager responsible for offline marketing at TCL Electronics (Thailand) Company, event organization is a crucial part of my role. One of the most significant events I managed was The Asia-Pacific Launch Event, which hosted over 500 guests from across Asia.

Event Details:

Date: 25th May 2023

Venue: Centara Grand At Central World

Objective: Launching new models and showcasing products to media, as well as fostering relationships with business partners from Southeast Asia.

Target Group: Media and business partners (online and offline) from Southeast Asia, including countries such as Australia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, Myanmar, and Singapore (TBC). Estimated guest count: 500-600 pax.

Background Idea: Inspire Greatness

Event Inspiration: Creating an extraordinary moment between the brand and our guests, emotionally enhancing the brand image of TCL.

Key Responsibilities and Achievements:

1. Event Planning and Execution:

– Initiated and coordinated with corporate and business partners to plan, execute, and manage timelines and project management for the event.

– Collaborated with vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective budgeting, planning, and control.

– Activated communication plans, fostering collaboration with other departments, including strategic planning, communication & public affairs, and product teams.

2.Logistics and Operations:

– Managed all aspects of event logistics, including collateral material design, production, and distribution.

– Oversaw budgeting and expense management to ensure efficient allocation of resources.

– Prepared comprehensive post-event reports and conducted analysis to evaluate the success and impact of the event.

3. Stakeholder Coordination:

– Coordinated with outsourced teams, event contractors, advertising agencies, dealers, and PR agencies to ensure seamless event execution.

– Successfully organized events, meetings, and trade shows by identifying requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules, and creating task lists.

– Demonstrated expertise in managing event sequences, cues, and agendas, including scriptwriting for MCs and other event-related materials.

4. Marketing and Branding:

– Developed and implemented innovative marketing concepts and activities to generate volume and strengthen the brand’s presence.

– Led offline event marketing initiatives, conferences, new product launches, and managed public relations and digital marketing communications.

– Demonstrated creativity, proactivity, result-orientation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a presentable and professional demeanor.

Throughout my tenure as an event manager, I have consistently delivered successful events that have established strong connections with media, business partners, and stakeholders. By combining strategic planning, effective communication, and meticulous execution, I have played a pivotal role in driving TCL’s brand visibility and market presence. I am dedicated to continuous growth as an event professional and eagerly anticipate future opportunities to create impactful experiences for both TCL and its valued stakeholders.
