There are many type of banana in Thailand and each bananas have different characteristics such as taste, texture, colour. The Hukmuk and Homthong banana variety are good for frying but they are not suitable for sun drying. Namwa banana is not suited for frying but is instead suited for drying. This was a very fun experience.
I enjoyed experimenting with banana and also tried mixing it with local materials by using some technique. Sometimes a process would fail (I burned my banana completely on one occasion) but finally I got so many ideas to develop and make my new products.
